Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on Svelte to join a lean, fast-moving team building a next-generation supply chain AI platform. You will own frontend architecture, translate evolving designs into working interfaces, and collaborate with designers and backend engineers in a highly autonomous environment.

You will prototype features rapidly, wire in backend integrations from mock data, and improve development speed through tooling and CI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience in startup or fast-paced teams.
• Deep experience with Svelte or React, with a preference for Svelte.
• Strong knowledge of component design, performance, and modern frontend practices.
• Ability to move quickly from idea to prototype to production in ambiguous environments.
• Comfortable communicating and making decisions in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Work on frontend architecture and implementation.
• Build dynamic, responsive UIs using Svelte (or React).
• Prototype features rapidly, even before designs are finalized.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers.
• Wire in backend integrations starting from mock data.
• Improve development speed through tooling, CI, and test coverage.
• Contribute to product-focused usability and interaction design.
• Help shape core architecture for AI-enabled workflows.
