Job summary

Vapi, based in San Francisco, is seeking a senior frontend engineer to elevate the quality of customer-facing dashboards and real-time data interfaces used to build and operate voice AI agents.

You will own end-to-end frontend work, shipping production React/TypeScript/Tailwind features with robust API integration, testing, and accessibility improvements while advancing the design system. The role offers ownership of significant data-heavy workflows in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with frontend focus.
• Strong command of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, plus browser APIs.
• Experience with test-driven development and design systems (Storybook).

Responsibilities

• Own core frontend workflows and dashboards with real-time data and scalable UI patterns.
• Ship production React/TypeScript/Tailwind features with strong API integration, testing, and accessibility improvements.
• Establish reusable patterns in the design system and Storybook to empower the team.
