Job summary

Sift seeks a senior frontend engineer to build high-performance data visualization interfaces for telemetry data. You will create reusable components and ensure smooth exploration of large real-time datasets using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern UI libraries.

Collaborate with backend teams on API design, performance optimization, and design systems. This hybrid role offers in-person collaboration twice a week and relocation options to LA or SF, plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications and data-driven tools.
• Strong experience building production applications with React, NextJS and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and browser rendering.
• Experience with modern CSS (Tailwind) and component libraries (Radix UI) for building design systems.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance data visualization interfaces and reusable component libraries for complex telemetry data.
• Create intuitive user interfaces for data exploration while optimizing for large real-time datasets.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API design and implementation for seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in technical design discussions.
