Job summary

Inference.net, based in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Full-Stack (Frontend-Focused) Engineer to build dashboards and customer-facing apps for our planet-scale inference platform.

You’ll own the UI, ship end-to-end features from design to backend integration, and help craft a cohesive React + Tailwind component system. Hybrid work and close collaboration with a distributed team are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production React applications.
• Deep knowledge of Tailwind CSS and modern CSS architecture.
• TypeScript mastery and strong fundamentals in JS/DOM/APIs.
• Experience designing REST/JSON or gRPC backends (Node, Go, or similar).
• AuthN/AuthZ design (OIDC, JWT).
• Product sense: you care about UX details & accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Own the user experience – design, build, and polish dashboards, consoles, and customer-facing apps.
• Ship end-to-end features from Figma to React component to backend API and database migration.
• Design a component system in React + Tailwind for rapid iteration and cohesive design language.
• Optimize performance with SSR, code-splitting, hydration, and WebSocket-driven real-time updates.
• Collaborate across disciplines with distributed engineers, product designers, and founders.
• Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and introduce best practices for testing, accessibility, and observability.
