Veeva Link seeks a senior level Front End Engineer (React) who will participate in all aspects of architecting and developing new and innovative web applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and new product development in an established company that is rapidly growing. This role is ideal for an engineer eager to expand their career, passionate about search, solving complex problems, ownership, and experienced with React, Python, AWS, and Elasticsearch.

You must be based in the UK and eligible for employment in the UK, as Veeva does not sponsor employment visas or permits for this opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Build scalable web applications utilizing open-source tools and technologies
• Use REST and GraphQL APIs
• Work independently while communicating progress to team members
• Lead technical planning, user story and acceptance creation, and coding
• Identify and fix complex bugs and issues
• Design technical architectures to optimize performance and reduce fragility
• Implement front-end based on mock-ups and visual designs
• Develop responsive front-end applications using modern techniques

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable, reliable web applications
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills
• Self-managed, motivated, and independent
• Proficient in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Django, AWS, RDBMS, Elasticsearch, Redis
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
