Senior Software Engineer (React) - Remote in Dallas, Texas

Optomi, in partnership with a leading airline company, is seeking a Software Engineer with strong React.js front-end development experience to build modern, scalable, and responsive web applications as part of a cloud-native platform. The role involves collaboration with back-end, UI/UX, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performance user interfaces with a focus on Micro Frontend Architecture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable Micro Frontend applications using React.js, Single SPA, and Webpack 5 Module Federation
  • Building intuitive, map-based web interfaces to visualize IoT data using Google Maps API
  • Integrating securely with REST and GraphQL APIs using OAuth/JWT
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features
  • Writing unit and end-to-end test cases
  • Deploying applications to AWS CloudFront + S3 with Lambda@Edge support

Required experience:

  • Experience with Google Maps API and data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js)
  • Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture, Single SPA, Webpack 5 Module Federation
  • Authentication & Authorization: OAuth, JWT, SSO (Ping Identity preferred)
  • State management: Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API
  • Hands-on experience with REST/GraphQL API integration
  • Experience working with Aurora, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
