Job summary

Lyric is hiring a Full Stack Engineer focused on the frontend, with deep experience in React and modern web platforms. You’ll modernize the frontend, shape backend APIs, and apply AI tools to streamline development while ensuring healthcare-grade security and performance.

Collaboration with product, UX, and DevOps will be daily, delivering scalable, customer-delighting features. You’ll work on modular Angular-like approaches, contribute to design systems, and own end-to-end experiences from UI

Qualifications

5+ years building and shipping production systems in fast-moving teams.
Deep front-end experience with React/Next.js or Angular with depth in React.
Strong fundamentals: TypeScript, HTML, CSS, accessibility, performance.
Experience reading and extending .NET backends and RESTful APIs.
Comfort with SQL and designing reasonable schemas.
Experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) for real-world tasks.

Responsibilities

Design and build React applications that are modular, testable, and accessible by default.
Own the experience layer end to end: design system contributions, responsive layouts, accessibility, performance.
Partner with UX on flows that handle real customer workloads and complex permissions.
Shape and extend the .NET APIs your front end consumes and optimize backend interactions.
Use SQL for data retrieval and contribute to data pipelines when needed.
Build AI-powered tooling and playbooks to accelerate migrations, testing, and documentation.
