Scribd, Inc. is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join Discovery Applications, building user-facing experiences powered by ML and Generative AI. You will collaborate across engineering, design, product, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features in a high-visibility environment.

The role emphasizes frontend-first development with full-stack involvement, code reviews, mentoring, and shaping architecture and strategy for scalable, testable systems in a remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional frontend software engineering experience.
• Deep experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microfrontend architectures, monorepos, or shared frontend platforms.
• Strong understanding of web performance, bundling, and optimization techniques.
• Experience collaborating with backend and platform teams to define clean integration patterns.
• Comfort operating in high traffic, high visibility environments with real user impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; thrives in a remote, documentation-driven culture.

Responsabilités
