Scribd, Inc. is seeking a frontend engineer to build user-facing experiences powered by machine learning and generative AI. You will collaborate with backend and ML teams to implement scalable frontend solutions and contribute to design, architecture, and delivery.

The role emphasizes strong communication and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid setting. You’ll work primarily on the frontend while coordinating with other teams to ensure high performance and a seamless user experience

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microfrontend architectures, monorepos, or shared frontend platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; thrives in a remote, documentation-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Build the user-facing experiences powered by Machine Learning and Generative AI.
• Collaborate with backend and ML engineers to define clean integration patterns.
• Review code, participate in interviews, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to code strategy, architecture, and end-to-end delivery.
