Job summary

Caliola Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build software for mission‑critical applications. You will work on frontend systems with a strong emphasis on UI/UX, performance, and reliability, mentoring teammates and shaping technical direction.

The role uses TypeScript, Vue.js, and Nuxt on the frontend, with Node.js on the backend. It requires a security clearance; on-site work in Colorado Springs with limited remote work available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building production frontend applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with experience in Vue, React, Solid, or Angular.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, reliable user interfaces adhering to designs and requirements.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring of engineers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, tested code and implement unit and system tests.
• Integrate frontend with backend services and APIs; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
