Job summary

Ruxlo is seeking a senior frontend IC to lead the multi-platform frontend layer, spanning Flutter/Dart iOS/Android and Next.js/React web. You will own the map-first UI, performance, and design system while shaping the frontend strategy across surfaces.

Ideal candidates ship production frontends on both mobile and web, leverage TypeScript/Dart, and drive performance, accessibility, and programmatic SEO at scale. This is a high-impact role with ambitious product goals.

Qualifications

5+ years building and operating production frontends, with genuine shipping experience on both mobile and web.
Expert-level command of TypeScript/JavaScript and Dart.
Continuous integration and delivery for web and mobile.
Automated testing as a habit.
Client-side observability.

Responsibilities

Own the client layer across platforms: define architecture, state, and design language for Flutter/Dart and Next.js/React.
Ship the map with tile/marker rendering, clustering, and viewport-driven queries.
Build for search and AI answer engines: web rendering strategy, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
Make AI features feel good: streaming responses, loading/uncertainty states, and optimistic updates.
Own the design system: turn design tokens into reusable components for web and mobile.
Own the release trains: app store/Play, code signing, staged rollouts, feature flags, and web delivery.
Hold the bar on real devices: performance on mid-range devices and variable networks.
Set the standard: decide what to share across surfaces and establish team-wide patterns.
