Job summary

Ruxlo LLC is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own the multi-platform frontend layer for a map-first product serving 150M+ parcels. You will define the component architecture across Flutter/Dart mobile apps and Next.js/React web app, optimize rendering, and align design-system tokens with product goals.

You will work with AI-assisted features, ensure Core Web Vitals, and lead performance and accessibility efforts, collaborating with design and backend.

Qualifications

• Multi-Platform Frontend (the core of this role)
• Flutter/Dart in production on both iOS and Android
• Strong Next.js/React with TypeScript, including rendering strategy
• Cross-platform judgment: what to share vs. build twice
• State, data, and the network: handling flaky networks
• Frontend performance: Core Web Vitals & optimization
• Design systems & accessibility to WCAG standards
• REST and/or GraphQL with contracts & versioning

Responsibilities

• Own the client layer across platforms: architecture, state, navigation, design language across Flutter and Next.js apps.
• Ship the map with tile/marker rendering, clustering, and performance optimizations for 150M+ parcels.
• Build for search and AI answer engines: server rendering, structured data, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals.
• Make AI features feel responsive: streaming, loading states, optimistic updates.
• Own the design system: tokenization and reusable components across web and mobile.
• Own release trains: code signing, staged rollouts, feature flags, web CD.
• Test on real devices with performance budgets and flaky networks.
• Set standards for cross-platform sharing vs. separate builds.
