Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to lead the Ember-based frontend for internal platforms enabling reporting, workflows, and data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure secure, high-performing UI platforms.

The role emphasizes modernization, accessibility, and scalable frontend architecture, with leadership responsibility for Ember-based projects and a focus on delivering robust, testable interfaces

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong professional experience building applications with Ember.js.
• Experience with Ember Octane, Glimmer Components, Tracked Properties, Ember Data, and modern testing patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain user-facing web applications using Ember.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces aligned with modern frontend standards.
• Lead execution of new features, enhancements, technical improvements, and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with backend engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Follow Ember best practices including Octane, Glimmer Components, and modern testing patterns.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities and dependency risks.
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure quality across frontend applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and user experience.
• Deliver high-quality features with minimal supervision in cross-functional initiatives.
