Forged Fiber is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to develop, modernize, and maintain high-performing, secure user interfaces for internal platforms enabling reporting, operational workflows, and data-driven decisions. You will serve as the frontend technical lead for Ember-based applications, partnering with backend engineers and product owners.

The role requires 4+ years of frontend experience with Ember.js, proficiency in ES6+/TypeScript, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong experience building applications with Ember.js.
• Experience with modern Ember concepts (Octane, Glimmer, Tracked Properties, Ember Data).
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain user-facing web applications using Ember.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces aligned with modern frontend standards.
• Lead execution of new features, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Follow Ember development patterns including Octane, Glimmer components, and current best practices.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and dependency risks.
