Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer for the Coinbase Card Team within the Consumer Product Group. You will build user-facing experiences for Coinbase card products, joining a small team with high ownership and impactful work.

You’ll own end-to-end frontend development for core card experiences across web and mobile, optimize performance, mentor teammates, and help drive SLOs and latency improvements in a high-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with React/React Native.
• Experience shipping consumer-facing products at scale with focus on performance and UX.
• Experience owning SLOs and latency improvements for user flows.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute as a senior voice.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end frontend development for core card experiences across web and mobile.
• Build new user-facing features like authorized card users and real-time status trackers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers to ship high-impact projects.
