Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission and business applications.

You will work in an Agile team, delivering front-end components with Angular/RxJS while integrating with Java/Spring Boot services and enterprise platforms. The role emphasizes frontend development with Angular/RxJS and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in related technical field.
• Experience with Angular and RxJS for front-end/UI development.
• Experience analyzing requirements and developing software solutions from documented specifications.
• Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software components.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
• Experience with software design, development, integration, and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, Java, JMS, Kafka, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems
• Support processing-intensive analytics and large-scale data applications
• Analyze requirements and translate into software designs
• Develop responsive UIs using Angular and RxJS
• Review and test software components for design and functional correctness
• Document test results and resolve defect reports
• Collaborate with engineers, systems, testers, and other stakeholders
• Support integration of front-end apps with back-end services, APIs and databases
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD activities and technical documentation
