Apex Systems is seeking a Digital Front End Engineer in Merrifield, VA (Hybrid). You will contribute to a Digital Delivery team, crafting Angular-based features for modern web apps and coordinating with product, design, and engineering peers.

The role requires 5+ years of front-end experience, strong TypeScript, and a focus on accessibility and testability, with an Agile team environment and REST API integration. This position offers a hybrid work model in the Virginia area.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing dynamic, highly interactive web UIs.
Angular 19+ experience.
CSS/SCSS & Bootstrap or similar styling frameworks.
Proficient in TypeScript development.
WCAG 2.0 accessibility: semantic HTML & ARIA.
Experience with Karma or Jest for unit testing.
Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps Repos usage.
Experience in Agile cross-functional teams.
Ability to interface with RESTful web services.

Responsibilities

Develop new client-facing features for interactive web applications using REST APIs.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, and engineers to build Angular features.
Implement reusable, scalable UI components.
Utilize existing UI components where possible for new features.
Ensure responsive implementation across devices.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and analysts to ship features.
Deliver high-quality, shippable code in short increments.
Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs.
