Verano in Chicago, with remote eligibility for approved states, seeks a Senior frontend engineer to build storefronts customers shop on and own the analytics implementation across our dispensary and brand sites. You will ship React and Next.js features, write in TypeScript, and ensure accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA.

You will own the dataLayer, GTM containers, GA4 and BigQuery integrations, maintain data quality, and build automated checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production React applications with Next.js and TypeScript.
• 2+ years implementing analytics in code (GTM, GA4, dataLayer design).
• SQL knowledge, ideally against GA4 BigQuery export.
• Experience integrating third-party commerce APIs.
• Accessible front-end work to WCAG standards with automated tests.
• Scrum experience and ability to write clearly for marketers/QA.

Responsabilités

• Storefront features built with React/Next.js and TypeScript, accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA.
• Own the analytics stack from dataLayer to GTM to GA4 and BigQuery exports.
• Maintain data quality across the chain and build automated tracking checks.
• Handle checkout and pixels tracking across our embedded checkout.
• Integrate Sweed e-commerce data and store routing via API work.
• Own technical SEO across a large catalog of pages.
• Support Growth tests and conversion analysis with tracking.
• Launch new sites from a shared codebase with analytics/content setup.
• Direct and review work of external contractors.
