Job summary

SkyLink in New York is seeking a full‑stack engineer with deep frontend expertise to lead the development of our web experience and extend our AI travel agent across Slack, Microsoft Teams, and the browser. You will build intuitive traveler interfaces, operational tools for travel administrators, and reusable frontend components, while partnering with product and design to simplify complex workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong React and TypeScript

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant frontend experience in React and TypeScript.
• 2+ years of frontend experience building polished, responsive user interfaces.
• Comfort across the stack: UI components, application state, APIs, and relational data models.
• Ability to translate backend workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Strong product and design thinking with ownership and a bias for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Build SkyLink’s web-based traveler experience, including search, booking, and trip management.
• Create seamless handoffs between Slack, Teams, and rich web interfaces.
• Develop dashboards and tools for corporate travel administrators and TMCs.
• Design reusable frontend components for complex travel content and workflows.
• Collaborate with product and design to reduce complexity and improve scalability.
• Understand APIs and data models to reflect complex travel workflows in the frontend.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, testing, and reliability.
• Help define architecture and engineering standards for SkyLink’s web platform.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to learn how travelers interact with the product.
