Airwallex is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design, build, and own high-performance frontend experiences powering Growth at scale. You’ll collaborate across Product, Design, Marketing, and Data Science to deliver scalable, AI-powered interfaces and tools.

The role emphasizes performance, accessibility, and rapid experimentation, with a Seattle-based hybrid model. You’ll mentor engineers and contribute to architecture and system design.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Experience building scalable, production-grade web applications.
Understanding of frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and UX.
Experience with modern frontend toolchains and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and own high-performance frontend platforms and experiences.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Backend Engineering to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Drive performance improvements, experimentation, and optimization through data-driven decisions.
