Job summary

LangChain’s LangSmith team in Boston is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to build features for our enterprise platform observability and debugging tools. You will craft responsive UI using React and TypeScript, implement reusable components, and collaborate with design and backend engineers to deliver high quality experiences.

Ideal candidates have strong CS fundamentals, experience with modern frontend tooling, and a passion for user-centric design.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on with modern front-end tooling (Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, Yarn).
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs or services and collaborating with backend teams.
• Familiarity with JWT-based authorization and secure design patterns.
• User-focused design mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Solid CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for performance across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with full-stack and backend developers and UX/UI designers to enhance usability.
