Job summary

LangChain is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to build features for LangSmith, our enterprise platform for observability, testing, and debugging of LLM apps. You will translate designs into high-quality UI and collaborate with backend teams.

You should bring strong React, JavaScript and TypeScript skills, plus experience with Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM and REST APIs. A CS degree is preferred; remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Extensive front-end engineering experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Babel, Vite, Webpack, NPM, and Yarn.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and working with backend teams.
• Knowledge of JWTs and modern authorization mechanisms.
• Strong UX focus and clear communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React & TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize components for performance across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend, full-stack, and UX/UI designers to enhance usability.
