As an Agentic Engineer at Farther, you will build agentic solutions that change how our business runs, sit with operations teams and advisors, and own rollout from design to training and evaluation in a regulated wealth management environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software engineering using Python, SQL, HTTP, AWS
• Designing systems that scale and handle growing workloads
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code
• Professional experience building AI Agents (Claude SDK or similar)
• Deep understanding of cloud/serverless architectures (AWS Bedrock AgentCore)
• Experience supporting Operations functions and teams
• Strong ownership mindset focused on adoption and outcomes
• Business judgment to trade off must-have vs nice-to-have features
• Experience working with demanding users and turning feedback into decisions
• History delivering complex, business-facing apps through rollout
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high‑value workflows and translate needs into agentic solutions
• Design and build production agents that reason over data and vendor integrations
• Make architectural decisions for scalable, long-term solutions with best practices
• Build and maintain integrations connecting agents to internal and external platforms
• Own production readiness with monitoring, logging, and safety controls
• Lead complex rollouts to business-facing users
• Train and support users to use agentic tools effectively
• Track adoption and feed insights back into the product roadmap
