Job summary

Farther is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the AI-assisted wealth management platform. You will drive the product surface that advisors interact with, while building the framework and renderer that define how the system presents screens and handles inputs.

You’ll set guardrails for the agent-driven UI and collaborate with backend teams to formalize the wire contracts and tests. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, TypeScript/React excellence, and a track record of

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web applications, including frontend as the product.
• Expert-level frontend engineering with strict typing.
• Production experience with LLMs - agentic systems, tool calling, streaming responses, conversational interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the assistant experience and prototype production interfaces.
• Build the underlying framework to declare agent capabilities and visibility for surfaces.
• Design the renderer that turns model output into a validated UI, extensible for new input types.
• Negotiate and version wire contracts with the backend team, with tests.
• Treat developer experience as a first-class deliverable by designing and documenting APIs.
• Mentor engineers and raise the quality bar in code reviews.
