Togetherwork in Austin, TX is seeking a Frontend Engineer to incrementally modernize 20+ SaaS product UIs across a polyglot stack while keeping live systems running. You will work from Figma designs, leverage AI coding tools, and own the full journey from design handoff to backend integration.

You will use AI tools daily, implement feature flags for safe rollout, and collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure measurable performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience modernizing legacy UIs with incremental approaches.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript and CSS.
• Figma-to-production handoff using AI-assisted coding.
• Backend integration and API decoupling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Legacy UI modernization: incrementally replace server-rendered UIs with modern React components.
• Figma to Production: convert designs to production-ready components using AI tools, with validation.
• Backend Integration: coordinate API decoupling where needed for modernization.
• AI-Augmented Development: use AI models in daily workflow and critique outputs.
• Quality and Stability: implement feature flags and write unit/visual regression tests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with designers, PMs, and backend engineers to align scope.
