GoodRx is seeking a senior frontend engineer to advance the company’s web platform used by millions. You will shape frontend architecture, collaborate with backend engineers, and mentor others while delivering scalable UI features across surfaces and journeys.

The role emphasizes performance, accessibility, and modern tooling (React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL). You’ll contribute to code reviews, CI/CD, and evaluating new technologies to improve speed, reliability, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience delivering web-scale products.
• Experience with React, TypeScript and state management (Context/Redux).
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs integration.
• Experience with Next.js SSR/SSG and performance optimization.
• Strong frontend architecture, accessibility and web standards knowledge.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Utilize frontend skills to solve complex UX problems across surfaces and journeys.
• Collaborate with web developers to evolve frontend frameworks and components.
• Design scalable frontend architecture that is stable and usable.
• Define coding standards and improve code quality and maintainability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and frontend developer workflows.
• Write unit tests and increase test coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and evaluate new technologies.
• Lead development of complex features from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs for frontend features.
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge with the team.
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
