Job summary

Farther seeks a senior frontend engineer to build an AI-assisted advisor interface and the framework powering screens and guardrails. You will develop modular, scalable frontend patterns using React, TypeScript, and modern tooling while shaping the developer experience across Farther’s stack.

You will collaborate with AI, product, and backend teams to deliver reliable, high-performance interfaces that scale with our wealth-management platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production web apps, frontend focused
• Expert-level frontend engineering with strong typing
• Production experience with LLMs, agentic systems, tool calling, streaming interfaces
• Modular, scalable frontend patterns by default
• Distributed systems fundamentals: timeouts, retries, idempotency
• Strong product instincts and documentation habit
• Fluent in AI-assisted development, codegen, PR workflows
• End-to-end ownership with on-time delivery

Responsibilities

• Deliver the assistant experience from prototype to production
• Build the underlying framework for agent-to-UI interactions
• Design the renderer that converts model outputs into a UI
• Negotiate and version the wire contract with backend, with tests
• Document APIs and drive developer adoption with minimal support
• Mentor engineers and uphold code quality in reviews
