Job summary

CyberCoders is hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer for a fully remote role, with hours aligned to East Coast/Central time. You will build high‑quality web experiences using React and modern frontend tech, and drive accessibility, performance, and CMS optimization.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead technical efforts, mentor engineers, and help shape platform architecture. Drupal/WordPress familiarity and AWS/Docker/Kubernetes skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with a focus on frontend
• 5+ years with React/JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS; senior architect experience expected
• Experience with Drupal and/or WordPress development/administration is a plus
• Backend basics in PHP/Python/Golang can help
• Familiarity with Varnish, Solr, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Strong understanding of testing, security, accessibility, and modern web practices

Responsibilities

• Build accessible, secure, high-performing user experiences using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve engagement
• Ensure quality via testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
• Contribute to platform performance, reliability, monitoring, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers
• Manage and enhance CMS platforms (themes, modules, plugins)
• Ensure SEO best practices
