Job summary

Fearless is seeking a Drupal Frontend Engineer (Consultant) to design, develop, and maintain modern digital experiences for a federal health care platform with wide monthly usage. Remote-friendly in the U.S., with responsibilities spanning design-system extensions, secure JS/JSX development, and Cypress testing.

Qualifications

5+ years of web development experience.
Drupal 10/11 frontend development experience.
Strong Drupal frontend architectures (SDC, JS frameworks).
WCAG proficiency across interfaces.
PostCSS workflows and modern styling practices.
Experience integrating React-based apps into Drupal.
Drupal.org username required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Extend and implement design systems within Drupal themes using Storybook and SDC.
Architect and write secure, performant JavaScript per coding standards.
Uphold WCAG across all digital touchpoints.
Develop PostCSS workflows within Drupal theme architecture.
Integrate Web Components into Drupal themes.
Write Cypress end-to-end tests for quality and regression coverage.
Use JS and PHP debugging tools to speed development.
Support backend tasks like Drupal configuration management.
Collaborate in Git with forks, branching, and conflict resolution.
Balance multiple projects in Agile ceremonies.
