Job summary

Go4 is building its first internal product and engineering team to deliver V2 of its platform. This Senior Frontend Engineer role owns client-side architecture and engineering quality for React and React Native apps across web, iOS, and Android, setting standards and shipping product.

You’ll evaluate external design work, uplift it to Go4-owned standards, and build a production-quality foundation with reusable components and a design system. Remote role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Extensive React and TypeScript experience across web and mobile.
• Strong React Native experience with iOS/Android release lifecycles.
• Experience across React web and React Native mobile in the same role.
• Knowledge of API-driven applications and handling partial outages.
• Established automated frontend testing, CI/CD, and release workflows.
• Frontend observability, error monitoring, and performance in production.
• Experience mentoring application engineers and shaping engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Own React and React Native architecture across Go4’s experiences (web, iOS, Android).
• Set frontend standards, project structure, development workflow, testing expectations, and release practices.
• Evaluate external design/code and uplift into Go4-owned foundation.
• Create reusable components and design system patterns across all surfaces.
• Lead frontend development of Athletic Trainer and Event Organizer experiences as designs mature.
• Collaborate with backend on API contracts and simulate endpoints when needed.
• Ensure frontend performance, accessibility, instrumentation, and production readiness.
• Establish telemetry for user behavior and technical failures.
• Lead app store readiness and four-surface integration/testing/hardening.
• Mentor and recruit future application engineers.
