Job summary

Go4 is seeking a senior frontend engineer to own client-side architecture across web, iOS, and Android. You’ll set architecture and standards before V2 ships, uplift external design into Go4-owned code, and lead frontend delivery for Athletic Trainer and Event Organizer surfaces.

You will collaborate with backend on API contracts, drive automated testing, performance, telemetry, and production readiness, while mentoring the next engineering cohort. Remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• Strong background in React/TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with React Native and mobile release lifecycles.
• Experience building API-driven applications with automated frontend testing and CI/CD.
• Ability to establish design systems, component libraries, and frontend observability.

Responsibilities

• Own React and React Native architecture across web, iOS, and Android.
• Establish frontend standards, project structure, development workflow, testing expectations, and release practice.
• Evaluate external design and uplift it into a Go4-owned codebase.
• Establish reusable components and design system patterns across all surfaces.
• Lead web and mobile experiences for Athletic Trainers and Event Organizer domains.
• Collaborate with backend on API contracts and simulated endpoints.
• Own frontend performance, error handling, accessibility, telemetry, and production readiness.
• Establish telemetry to monitor user behavior and failures.
• Lead app store readiness and production hardening across surfaces.
• Help recruit and mentor the application engineers.
