Job summary

Handshake is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the frontend architecture for Handshake AI Enterprise, establishing the component system, design language, and engineering patterns that future engineers will rely on.

You'll define the technical bar, set foundational decisions, and build scalable UI across teams, delivering production-grade interfaces for enterprise deployments from a zero-base product.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years frontend engineering experience with strong architectural track record.
• Deep expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Architect the frontend foundation for Handshake AI Enterprise, including the component system, design tokens, patterns, and conventions.
• Define code standards, review practices, and documentation that scale with the team.
• Collaborate with Applied AI and Platform engineers to define clean API contracts and integration patterns.
• Ship production-grade UI for enterprise customer deployments and evolve architecture over time.
