Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a Front-office Senior Software Engineer, VP for Liquid Credit. Based in Miami, you will join the BXTI team building cloud-native portfolio, order, and trade processing systems for fixed-income strategies.

You will lead technical design, mentor juniors, and collaborate with traders, product managers, and UX designers. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in software engineering (C#/Python, JS/TS), cloud AWS, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering in finance with C# and/or Python, JS/TS, and cloud tech (AWS).
• Hands-on tech lead with collaboration across product, UX, and other leads.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and scalable microservice architectures.
• Strong OO design, secure, maintainable code and testing approaches.
• Experience with fixed-income front-office trading systems.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build/scaling cloud-native web apps, microservices, and data pipelines.
• Lead design reviews, participate in Agile ceremonies, mentor juniors.
• Write automated unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and traders.
• Maintain code quality and security across platforms.
