Orlando Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Sr. Front Office Assistant to perform routine scheduling and front desk duties in an ambulatory office, under supervision of the Practice Site Supervisors. The position includes travel to Longwood, Lake Mary, Oviedo, Orange City and other nearby locations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, typing around 30 wpm, knowledge of ICD & CPT, and at least two years of medical office experience. Full benefits start day one for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Typing speed of approximately 30 wpm and proficient with practice management software.
• Knowledge of ICD & CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Answer telephone, take messages, file lab reports and medical records per policy.
• Perform word processing and spreadsheet data entry.
• Handle charge entry and cash handling.
• Liaise between physician, patient and insurance for referrals/authorizations.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance per policies.
