BCforward in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for Capital Markets/Front Office on a 12-month contract. You will lead requirements engineering, translate business needs into executable roadmaps, and collaborate with traders and technology teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services BA/PM, strong expertise in Front Office workflows, risk and P&L concepts, and hands-on use of Jira and Confluence for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BA/PM/Tech delivery within financial services.
• Proficiency in requirements engineering, backlog management, and test planning.
• Strong knowledge of Front Office trading workflows, risk management, and P&L concepts.
• Experience managing RAID logs, dependencies, and executive reporting in portfolio settings.
• Hands-on skills with Jira and Confluence for planning and tracking.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary liaison between Front Office stakeholders and Technology teams from requirements through delivery.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test plans.
• Drive multiple concurrent initiatives with disciplined RAID and dependency management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain delivery governance and cadence.
• Provide executive-ready reporting, status, and risk/issue escalations.
• Partner with traders and business users to refine scope and validate outcomes through UAT and release readiness.
• Support compliance with regulatory and control frameworks and audit remediation as needed.
