Job summary

BOK Financial is seeking a Tech Lead Software Engineer to mentor the project team, collaborate with the Solution Architect, and drive architectural decisions for durable, scalable web solutions.

The role focuses on design, development, and operation of customer-facing web platforms using Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, and Nx, with emphasis on modern front-end architecture, accessibility, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of customer-facing web platforms
• Demonstrated technical leadership as a Tech Lead or senior IC
• Strong front-end engineering experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with NgRx and Nx, scalable state management and monorepos
• Excellent technical communication skills and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate technical direction for web platform priorities
• Lead through influence with product, backend, platform, security teams
• Serve as the frontend escalation point for architecture, performance, accessibility and security
• Mentor through design reviews, code reviews, and shared standards
• Own end-to-end ownership of the web platforms and delivery quality
• Define architecture and API integration patterns with backend teams
• Establish guardrails and reusable components for autonomy
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and velocity
