Job summary

First Object is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer- Frontend with deep expertise in Angular and TypeScript to contribute to a financial reconciliation product used globally.

You will develop Angular/UI components, work with Kendo Grid, and ensure secure, performant interfaces with REST API integration. Collaborate with backend engineers, QA, and product teams to translate designs into reliable frontend features, participate in design reviews, and contribute to code quality within an Agile sprint

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong Angular experience (14+; latest LTS desirable).
• Proficiency with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular patterns.
• Experience with Kendo Grid/UI for data-heavy interfaces.
• REST API integration, token management, error handling in frontend.
• RxJS observables, subjects, operators for state management.
• Bootstrap/CSS responsive UI development.
• Unit testing with Jasmine/Karma.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar.
• SVN, Git, JIRA for version control and project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Angular/UI components and services.
• Build complex data grids with sorting, filtering, pagination, inline editing.
• Implement end-to-end UI screens, navigation, dialogs, and forms.
• Translate wireframes into pixel-accurate components; ensure accessibility.
• Apply consistent styling, theming, and reusable components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Integrate REST APIs on frontend, handle auth tokens and errors.
• Contribute to Angular upgrade cycles and code reviews.
• Write unit tests and maintain frontend test coverage.
• Participate in CI/CD processes and sprint ceremonies.
