Job summary

Protegrity is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead multiple product teams, shaping the UI platform with a micro-frontend approach and shell SDK interfaces. You will stay hands-on when needed and champion AI-assisted development while upholding quality, security, and accessibility across all work.

You will partner with Product Management to drive roadmaps, define features, and ensure cross-team delivery. A strong background in React, TypeScript, and front-end architectures is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years leading and managing engineers.
• Strong React 18+ expertise and modern TypeScript patterns.
• Experience with Webpack 5 and Module Federation.
• Experience designing micro-frontend systems or modular UI architectures.
• Backend services experience including API design and microservices.
• Familiarity with event-driven patterns and cross-module state management.
• Experience with authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, RBAC).
• CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices including testing and code quality.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 product engineering teams with day-to-day management and mentoring.
• Set technical direction for UI platform, micro-frontend architecture, and shell SDK interfaces.
• Drive engineering execution: sprint planning, code reviews, and hands-on contributions.
• Establish and evolve CI/CD for front-end modules, including builds and tests.
• Ensure reusable UI and service capabilities and guide backend integrations.
• Partner with Product Management to define roadmaps and deliver outcomes.
• Define module contracts and SDK interfaces for independent development.
• Promote scalable integration patterns and shared state approaches.
• Drive engineering best practices across teams including testing and QA.
