Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Principal Front End Network Engineer – AI Infrastructure in Seattle to lead reliability, scalability, and evolution of high-performance Ethernet front-end networks. You will influence architecture and operational practices across teams while tackling the most complex front-end network challenges.

You will design leaf-spine/Clos fabrics, manage Arista/Nokia platforms, and mentor engineers to improve uptime, latency, and scalability in AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of network engineering experience in hyperscale data centres or AI infra.
• Strong hands-on with large-scale Ethernet fabrics (leaf-spine/Clos).
• Experience with DCI, long-haul circuits, and optical transport is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and operational strategy for front-end AI infrastructure networks.
• Design and evolve large-scale Ethernet fabrics to support growth and storage needs.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex network incidents and drive systemic fixes.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the bar for operational rigor.
