Job summary

Superhuman is building a high-velocity front-end team to deliver AI-powered interfaces across Chrome extension, desktop app, and web surfaces. You will craft real-time interfaces and agent-driven features for millions of users, balancing speed and polish with robust engineering practices.

You will work with React and TypeScript, emphasize testing and documentation, and mentor junior engineers while upholding a consistent, high-quality user experience across the product suite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of front-end development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Expert-level ReactJS knowledge and modern web client development.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into product surfaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build interfaces for AI-powered products used by millions, including real-time chat and agent builder tools.
• Design and implement rich, responsive UI in React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, and ML/AI teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences.
• Target high availability for consumer and enterprise customers.
• Tackle hard interaction design problems: streaming content, complex state management, and multi-surface interactions.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers on the team.
