The company in San Francisco is seeking a Software Engineer II to build the interfaces for autonomous AI workers. You will own the chat experience, memory views, live run timeline, and approval flows, shaping agentic interfaces from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Frontend engineer with 3+ years in React/TypeScript.
• Experience building chat/LLM-powered interfaces in production.
• Hands-on experience with real-time UIs and streaming data.
• Ability to design interfaces for AI agents and memory views.

Responsibilities

• Build the conversational interface for long-horizon agents with streaming responses and live updates.
• Design memory management views to show agent knowledge and context usage.
• Create live agent run views with plans, steps, and artifacts in real time.
• Develop human-in-the-loop approval surfaces and worker builder interfaces.
• Work with backend and agent engineers to shape APIs and optimize performance.
