Job summary

Cydecor is hiring a Senior Front-End Software Engineer in Reston VA to join the MARS Infrastructure Team. You will develop frontend solutions using Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript with a solid grasp of backend services. You should be familiar with Agile SDLC and ensure secure software practices, supporting DoD/IC contexts where applicable.

Role requires 6+ years of distributed frontend development, strong collaboration, and hybrid onsite work with some telework. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing distributed software applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue, React, and Angular.
• Experience with Linux, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory.
• Experience with frontend microservices and API best practices.
• Familiar with Agile development and secure software practices.
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver modern secure software applications to enable the intel mission.
• Troubleshoot defects, deduce root cause, and prevent reoccurrence across systems.
• Maintain software and push updates addressing customer needs.
• Analyze and test programs before formal launch.
• Collaborate with team to determine best practices and client requirements.
• Divide and conquer software development tasks with other developers.
• Coach and train team members to improve collaboration.
• Ensure software security following agency guidelines.
• Seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
• Support grooming of user stories and estimate effort.
