Job summary

Rackner is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help build a secure mission-planning and decision-support platform for a Defense customer. You will craft rich, responsive UI with React and TypeScript, translating complex data into clear workflows while ensuring security and reliability.

This mostly remote role within the United States requires collaboration across backend, AI/ML, security, and DevSecOps teams, with periodic onsite sprint planning at a Laurel, Maryland facility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience focused on frontend
• Experience building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
• Experience integrating UIs with APIs or backend services
• Familiarity with secure software development practices and version control
