Cydecor, a premier Federal Government solutions provider, seeks a Software Developer in Reston, VA. You will join the MARS Infrastructure Team, delivering frontend-focused solutions using Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with strong backend understanding. U.S. citizenship is required.

The role emphasizes agile lifecycle involvement, collaboration, and secure software practices, with hybrid onsite work and DoD/IC-related context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Software Engineer developing distributed software using modern/open-source technologies.
• Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue, React, Angular).
• Experience with Linux, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory.
• Experience with ESLint, Vuetify, Vue Composition, Vue Router, Pinia, TanStack, Axios, Vite, and/or TypeDoc.
• Deep understanding of frontend microservices and API best practices.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in Agile development and secure software practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver modern secure software applications to enable the intel mission.
• Troubleshoot defects, deduce root cause, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain all software and create updates addressing customer and company concerns.
• Analyze and test code before merging and formal launch.
• Collaborate with team to determine best practices and client requirements.
• Divide and conquer software development tasks with other developers.
• Seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
• Support grooming of user stories and estimate effort.
