Job summary

Methodic is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer (Web UI) to build and refine the UI/UX of our web platform and white-label applications in San Francisco, CA. You will use JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular to create intuitive, responsive interfaces for onboarding, trading, and account management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in front-end development building rich web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3; hands-on with at least one modern framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and handling real-time data (WebSockets).
• A good design eye and user-centric mindset: pixel-perfect layouts and intuitive user flow.
• Knowledge of web app security best practices (XSS, CSRF) in fintech apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features of Methodic’s web application using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Build responsive, cross-browser interfaces for desktop and mobile.
• Implement complex front-end workflows (onboarding with KYC/AML, funding, money transfers, dashboards).
• Collaborate with designers and PMs to translate wireframes into high-quality UI/UX and suggest improvements.
• Integrate front-end with backend APIs securely and efficiently for reports, real-time data, and notifications.
• Optimize front-end performance and ensure fast load times as data grows.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests to maintain high quality.
