Job summary

Wealthfront, a leading fintech, is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer to join a cross-functional scrum team. You’ll design and develop client-facing features, improve our design system components, and boost performance while collaborating with backend, mobile, and product teams.

You should have 2–5 years in web-focused roles, strong JavaScript (ES5+), experience with React or similar, and a passion for measuring business impact.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a web-focused engineering role.
• Strong JavaScript knowledge incl. ES5+, DOM APIs and a modern framework (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with design-driven page builds and responsive CSS.
• Interest in measurable business impact and fast-paced cross-functional work.
• Experience with TDD, CI, and automated testing.
• BS or MS in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, mobile engineers, designers and PMs to build new features.
• Triages and resolves web platform issues to ensure reliable services.
• Contributes to web infrastructure projects to boost health and delivery velocity.
• Participates in interviewing and provides mentorship to teammates.
• Designs client-facing features leveraging our design system components.
