Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support Government activities in Springfield, VA.

You will build scalable, maintainable UI applications within a microservices framework, focusing on modular components, performance, and accessibility. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of technical experience, with TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of related technical experience in front-end development and web applications.
• Experience with AWS environments (S3) and web applications in AWS infrastructure.
• Proficient in Java and/or JavaScript with J2EE and enterprise web app design.
• Experience with RDS databases and RESTful service design.
• Experience deploying apps to Apache Tomcat and debugging existing software.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Jira for change management in complex environments.
• Ability to translate product requirements into scalable system solutions.
