Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team in Arlington, VA, supporting a DoD Special Programs customer. You will build a modern, secure web-based platform in AWS GovCloud, enabling automated data management, RBAC, and multi-level security for national security operations.

You’ll work onsite, collaborate with UX/UI and back-end teams, and translate designs into efficient code while ensuring accessibility and performance across devices and browsers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Version control experience (Git).
• Strong attention to detail and clean, maintainable code.
• Exposure to Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into clean, efficient code.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
• Implement responsive designs across devices and screen sizes.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain code quality through testing and reviews.
