Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking an experienced Front-End Web Developer to build and optimize web interfaces. You will lead markup generation ensuring consistent presentation across browsers and devices, interpret business requirements, and guide front-end standards.

The role includes mentoring, client liaison, and performance analysis within a hybrid work setup near Cleveland, OH. You will collaborate with enterprise teams, use AngularJS and RESTful services, and contribute to information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Senior Front-End Web Developer or related role.
• Five (5) years of IT experience
• Five (5) years of experience working with JavaScript
• Three (3) years working with content management solutions with a preference for Adobe Experience Manager
• CSS3 and HTML5
• Web Development
• HTML/CSS/JS debugging tools (Firebug or Chrome Developer)
• Experience generating templates for various content-based tools (blog, wiki, or WCM)
• UX/UI design patterns
• Photoshop
• Source Code Control, preferably Git
• AngularJS
• AJAX to interact with RESTful services
• Working as part of an enterprise web team, interfacing with back-end developers, designers, web engineers, and external agencies or partners

Responsibilities

• Build front-end interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Lead efforts to generate markup that maintains presentation across browsers, OS, and devices.
• Interpret business requirements and determine efficient technologies.
• Research and improve current front-end standards and techniques.
• Provide Tier 2 on-call support for critical web application problems.
• Train and mentor other developers.
• Schedule and lead project and client meetings.
• Analyze performance of websites and implement improvements.
• Act as SME in discovery of critical production problems.
• Lead information architecture diagrams.
• Mitigate risks on high-complexity projects.
• Maintain and modify web applications and document changes.
• Publish presentations to management, clients, and peers.
