Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks a Senior Front-End Web Developer to build and maintain front-end interfaces across websites and applications. You will translate business requirements into functional specs, advance front-end standards, and lead cross-functional collaboration with back-end teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
• Five (5) years of IT experience as a Systems Engineer, Senior Front-End Web Developer or related role.
• Five (5) years of experience with JavaScript.
• Three (3) years with content management solutions (Adobe Experience Manager preferred).
• CSS3 and HTML5 experience required.
• Experience generating templates for content-based tools (blog, wiki, WCM).
• UX/UI design patterns and Photoshop skills desirable.
• Source control experience, preferably Git.
• Experience with AngularJS and AJAX to interact with RESTful services.
• Collaborate with enterprise web teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Build front-end interfaces for websites and web applications.
• Lead efforts to maintain cross-browser/presentation consistency.
• Interpret business requirements and create functional specifications.
• Research and implement new front-end techniques and standards.
• Provide tier 2 on-call support for critical web apps.
• Mentor other developers and present engineering recommendations.
